Shot many years ago on the wonderful Kenyan coast at Kilifi with my long-departed Canon 1D MkII equipped with the also-departed Canon EF 300mm f2.8 lens (big Bertha)
I recently rediscovered many images from that era on a trawl through the archives and I have given them an additional polish with Lightroom tweaks that weren’t available back in the day.
Armageddon? End of the world? Nah – just another glorious monsoon-season sunset over Kamala Bay 25 May 2020 6.37 pm taken from our balcony! Magico.

It has been a while since I posted. Many reasons for that, but there is now a pile of images in the in-tray. Here’s the first. Kamala beach on 10 June in the early morning with a rapidly advancing storm – it’s the monsoon season here in Phuket.

The moon setting over Kamala. Now four days old, it was pretty well lined up with the setting Venus.
